I wonder if tabulas will accept payment from GreenZap, because they said they're giving out $25 for those opening an account. It's something like PayPal, and works with various online stores like Ebay, iTunes, Yahoo, etc. The site only goes live in summer, but pre-registration starts now. Who know's if they'll give the $25 in the end, but certainly no harm in trying, right?

Girls can be so much more thoughtful than guys. I messaged most of the science quiz people to tell them I wasn't going to teach today and that I was unwell, and my only girl there, Ping, was the only one who replied and said get well soon. Hmph. You see, guys don't even bother to reply at all!

I hope she does well in the selection test and gets into the VJC team... show the rest that even among a whole group of guys a girl can do just as well! I just don't like how these science quiz things seem to be so dominated by the guys.

Live well. Love much. Smile often. That was my MSN nick about a week ago. Live well. It's not just about living well physically, but mentally and emotionally too. I wouldn't say someone who is rich and has all the luxuries he ever wanted someone that lives well. For all you know, he may face problems with his family as well as have bad relationships with other people. That's called live well? I think not. On the other hand, if someone is poor and happy, I'd say that is living well. Of course if someone is satisfied both physically and emotionally that is the best, but very rarely can you get the best of both worlds. Love much. It's always so easy to love your friends, family, you crushes, etc. Yet how many of us can actually love the begger you see down the street, the gangster that has commited numerous crimes and beaten so many people up, and the dirty, homeless people roaming about. They are people too, and I'm sure that they long to be loved. I admire people like Mother Theresa who has done so much for the people we would normally avoid; she loved them just as we would love our family. I wish that one day I would be able to love my enemies, and people who I'd normally avoid. Love is much more than the feeling you have for your crush or boyfriend/girlfriend. Smile often. Smiling is something so easy, yet how many of us are able to give thanks when the odds seem to be against us, and smile even when we are down? It's not impossible though, and when you are able to do it, you will find great joy. We just have to learn to see the good side of things. A smile can brighten up someone's day, seeing a good friend frown can make one unhappy too. 3 simple statements, yet with much meaning behind it. How many of us have managed to do all 3?

Shengyu called earlier to ask if I would be the vice head of YF next year, and I'm still thinking about it. The main thing I'm worried about is the responsibility, I seriously am not sure if I am up to it. At least there's one thing I'm relieved about - Shengyu and Darren will still retain their positions as head and vice head next year, so if I do agree, I'll have someone to guide me along. :) I'll definitely be praying over this for the next few days, hopefully I'll get an answer by Sunday. Actually, part of me knows that I really should agree, yet the other part is just unsure. I've actually prayed about this sometime ago, asking God how He wanted me to serve Him next year as well as in the future. I guess this could be His answer for me. Another weird thing is that Joanna as well as my brother were approached to be the treasurers next year. Joshua (Joanna's brother) and I are the treasurers cum secretarires this year, and our siblings will do our jobs next year. o.O I pity Joanna. -.-; And the thing is Darren and Shengyu didn't even realise it when they nominated the people till Joanna told them! ^^; Heh. Oh well, I'll brood over it later.

I seriously think it was a mistake to take Bio S; I probably should have taken Physics S instead. All the research is killing me! And I can't even find a suitable article on cell biology to do an abstract. Not that I know how to write one in the first place... Now I know why out off all the seniors that opted for Bio S last year only 3 ended up sitting for the actual exam.
